Happy Birthday Ashton!

On January 8, 2009, my baby turned 4! This year he wanted a Spiderman party, it is the first year that I haven't been able to choose the theme for his party,I wasn't sure about Spiderman, but it turned out really cute! He loved his cake, blowing out the candles, and opening his presents!
I love him, and his little personality so much. He says the cutest things all of the time, I really feel like he is growing up way to fast.
I LOVE YOU ASHTY!

Christmas

So we always go to my Aunt Melanie's for Christmas Eve. We make gingerbread houses, and eat a nice Christmas dinner, then we all dress up for the Nativity, (Morg and I were the one's with a baby this year, so we were Mary and Joseph) and so far we have been lucky enough to have Santa stop by and visit us there every year!

We all stay the night at Mom and Dad's house, so we can be together on Christmas Morning! It is so much fun watching all of the kids open their presents. They must have been really good this year because Santa spoiled them!

Yummy! Grayson loved his first candy cane

Early Christmas

Grandma and Grandpa came over a few days before Christmas, and we celebrated with them! It was lots of fun. Danny and Morgan played a game of marbles with grandma and grandpa and they actually won, which doesn't happen very often, Grandma is VERY competitive! Then we had dinner, and opened presents. The kids got way spoiled again this year, they have always been the best at picking out presents!!

Our little Angel Karli...

We had the opportunity to meet Karli Padfield during my Dads Stem Cell Transplant last year. She too was in the hospital getting a transplant. She is such an amazing person and has the best outlook on life. She truly is an angel in all of our lives. For Christmas she sent each one of us a glass ornament with a single white feather inside and a poem that reads:

This is an angel feather sent from God above, to serve as a reminder of his gracious love, its from your guardian angel that god assigned to you, it fell out in his struggles as he protects you, each time you almost stumble, each time you nearly fall, remember to thank God and his angels for answering your call.

Thanks Karli! Merry Christmas, we love you.

Maui

We went to Maui this year for Thanksgiving! It was so much fun, a well needed vacation. It was the trip we were supposed to take last spring with my dad, but he went down hill so fast that we never made it. We missed him lots. In one of the pictures Morgan decided to carry on tradition by letting the same goose at our hotel eat a fruit loop out of his lips, the way dad did last time we were all there together!
The kids loved to play on the beach, and Morgan talked me into going paraceling with him. Danny and Tiff came to, but obviously I am not the photographer she is, not one of the pictures I took of them worked, and she got like 10 of us. oops! sorry sis!
It was lots of fun, but it is always nice to come home! I can't wait for next year though!
