We had the opportunity to meet Karli Padfield during my Dads Stem Cell Transplant last year. She too was in the hospital getting a transplant. She is such an amazing person and has the best outlook on life. She truly is an angel in all of our lives. For Christmas she sent each one of us a glass ornament with a single white feather inside and a poem that reads:
This is an angel feather sent from God above, to serve as a reminder of his gracious love, its from your guardian angel that god assigned to you, it fell out in his struggles as he protects you, each time you almost stumble, each time you nearly fall, remember to thank God and his angels for answering your call.
Thanks Karli! Merry Christmas, we love you.

Stef, that is so special! I am so glad you will have yet another reminder of your guardian angel. And when you talk to him tell him that Tyler would like him to guard the broncos a little more.
Thanks for that post Stef, Amber, Tiff, and Alisa! That meant so much to me. I am just glad that I was able to meet you guys. Although it was in horrible conditions. But I just wanted to let you know that your dad is your guardian angel and he is always there watching over you all. You guys are so awesome and I love you guys tons! Merry Christmas!!!!!
What a sweet poem. I agree we all have guardian angels struggling to protect us. Thank you for sharing.
