So I have wanted chickens for a couple of years, and I finally talked Morgan into letting me get some! He built me a coop, and it turned out so dang cute! He did a really great job, he even matched it perfectly with the kids' playhouse! I got my chicks from Josh and Damion, they are called Bantams they are so cute and fluffy! The kids each got to pick one out: Ali's is named Tweety-Mcfluff (she made that one up all on her own!) and Ashton's is named frisky. It will be fun when they are old enough to start laying eggs.

I am blown away! Way to go Morgan. That is so cool that I had to call Aaron into the room to see this post. That chicken coop and playhouse is adorable. I had no idea Morgan could build like that. That is the fanciest chicken coop I have ever seen. Way to go Morg! I will let you have the chickens and let Josie come see them. I don't think I will ever do the chicken thing. YIKES!
Your backyard is a dream! Ramsey is always so disappointed when he plays at your house and then comes home to his refurbished playground... I love the pic of all the chicks lined up so perfectly, that is so cute! Go Morgan, it's your birthday... (I am such an idiot!)
Its bad enough that I have to see your amazing back yard everyday, but now you do a post on it to make me feel like an even bigger loser. I LOVE your chicken coop, and the whole backyard. Thats what you need to do is stand at your back door and actually get a picture of the whole thing. Its amazing. LOVE YA
I am SO jelous!! I want a chicken coop so bad. It would be so nice to just get eggs out of your back yard rather than the store. There is nothing like fresh eggs!!! Can you hire out your hubby to build me one??haha
