Easter

So I know I have totally been a slacker on the blog, but it has been a busy month....anyways we had a great Easter this year.... Grandma and Grandpa came over on Friday and brought the kid's Easter gifts. Grandma had made these little birds nests and even put M&'M's in them that looked liked little eggs! They were so adorable, they each got a cute little stuffed animal, and card, too!
Aunt Melanie and Uncle Monty had all of us down to their house for the day on Saturday, and the kids all died eggs, and had a easter egg hunt (it was raining so hard outside that we had to hide them in the front room!) then we all ate dinner together.
After the kids found what the Easter Bunny had left them Easter morning we all went to church....then met at Mom and Dad's house , where Mom had set up each kid their own little corner in her front room to find surprises and the Easter gift that she got for them... it was so cute!
Nama and all of her boys on a wheel barrel ride!

We Miss You Dad

Saturday, March 14, 2009

Exactly one year ago today at 5:30 am we held onto and kissed our Amazing Daddy and Papa Buddy one last last time as he slipped back into Heavenly Fathers arms.
My mom has a favorite saying.... " The bravest sight in all of the world, is someone fighting against the odds." That saying describes it all! He never gave up his fight to live, even though he was never given even a hope of beating this horrible disease, and I look up to him so much for staying so strong and brave, and I know that my mom was a big part of that, she stayed so strong, and positive for him and us, she never left his side.... Even in the end she was holding him in her arms.
I love and miss you Daddy, life will never be the same without you here.

Trip to Vegas

Oh don't you worry that is just my stroller shoved in the front seat with the poor limo driver.

Our fabulous limo ride to the airport at like 4:30 in the morning.( notice where James is)

These are the chocolate fountains at the chocolate shop in our hotel!

So I had to post this of Danny because he is always either trying to ruin every picture of Morgan and I, or catch me pulling an ugly face, I swear it is his lifes goal!

So I have never been to Vegas.... I know kinda sad right? Anyways I loved it. It was a little interesting with 3 little boys all under two, but it was still lots of fun! I think people wondered what the heck we were thinking when they saw us coming with three huge strollers with diaper bags purses and shopping bags draped all over them! The best was when we would try to go up and down the escalators with the stollers, I am not sure why we just didn't use the elevators, ( that would be way to easy) James and Morgan seemed to take their relationship to an entirely different level while we were there, he called Morgan "Daddy" the entire time, and would scream if Morgan walked away from him... It was really cute! We had this chocolate shop in our hotel that was absolutely amazing, everything was made of chocolate, and you should have seen how excited Tiff, Amber and I were over all of the pastries, chocolates, and crepes...I am sure that between that and all of the candy apples from New York New York that we ate (literally like 3 a day) we came home a few pounds heavier!

Morgan and Danny went to the Nascar race on Sunday, and they loved it, they were so excited when they got back to the room, they were like two little boys ( Oh wait that is how they always are) they loved telling us every little detail about it! We did get to do a little gambling, when Mom and Amber went to bed we just put the kids to sleep, and left them in Moms room and we went down to the casino. We also went to see "O" , it was a really good show, definitely worth going to.

So even though it was a quite the adventure with the kids, it actually paid off in the end, because we got to take a limo to the airport, ( so funny) then when we got to security they let us go through the handicap lane saving us literally over an hour. Vegas was lots of fun and we can't wait to go back but next time we won't be taking any kids!

Happy 30th Baby!!

For Morgans birthday this year, we had a party with his family and mine, It was fun to have everyone together. We all just hung out then ate cake and icecream, and opened his presents... I had to put the picture of Tiff and Amber eating Morgan's cake on here.....I am sure they will love it!! I surprised Morgan with tickets to the Nascar Races in Las Vegas, I have had it planned since October so it was really hard to keep it from him for so long, Tiff took some pictures of me holding his ticket, and I made an album out of them... that is how I gave him his surprise!!
