Exactly one year ago today at 5:30 am we held onto and kissed our Amazing Daddy and Papa Buddy one last last time as he slipped back into Heavenly Fathers arms.
My mom has a favorite saying.... " The bravest sight in all of the world, is someone fighting against the odds." That saying describes it all! He never gave up his fight to live, even though he was never given even a hope of beating this horrible disease, and I look up to him so much for staying so strong and brave, and I know that my mom was a big part of that, she stayed so strong, and positive for him and us, she never left his side.... Even in the end she was holding him in her arms.
I love and miss you Daddy, life will never be the same without you here.

Trip to Vegas

Oh don't you worry that is just my stroller shoved in the front seat with the poor limo driver.

Our fabulous limo ride to the airport at like 4:30 in the morning.( notice where James is)

These are the chocolate fountains at the chocolate shop in our hotel!

So I had to post this of Danny because he is always either trying to ruin every picture of Morgan and I, or catch me pulling an ugly face, I swear it is his lifes goal!

So I have never been to Vegas.... I know kinda sad right? Anyways I loved it. It was a little interesting with 3 little boys all under two, but it was still lots of fun! I think people wondered what the heck we were thinking when they saw us coming with three huge strollers with diaper bags purses and shopping bags draped all over them! The best was when we would try to go up and down the escalators with the stollers, I am not sure why we just didn't use the elevators, ( that would be way to easy) James and Morgan seemed to take their relationship to an entirely different level while we were there, he called Morgan "Daddy" the entire time, and would scream if Morgan walked away from him... It was really cute! We had this chocolate shop in our hotel that was absolutely amazing, everything was made of chocolate, and you should have seen how excited Tiff, Amber and I were over all of the pastries, chocolates, and crepes...I am sure that between that and all of the candy apples from New York New York that we ate (literally like 3 a day) we came home a few pounds heavier!

Morgan and Danny went to the Nascar race on Sunday, and they loved it, they were so excited when they got back to the room, they were like two little boys ( Oh wait that is how they always are) they loved telling us every little detail about it! We did get to do a little gambling, when Mom and Amber went to bed we just put the kids to sleep, and left them in Moms room and we went down to the casino. We also went to see "O" , it was a really good show, definitely worth going to.

So even though it was a quite the adventure with the kids, it actually paid off in the end, because we got to take a limo to the airport, ( so funny) then when we got to security they let us go through the handicap lane saving us literally over an hour. Vegas was lots of fun and we can't wait to go back but next time we won't be taking any kids!

Happy 30th Baby!!

For Morgans birthday this year, we had a party with his family and mine, It was fun to have everyone together. We all just hung out then ate cake and icecream, and opened his presents... I had to put the picture of Tiff and Amber eating Morgan's cake on here.....I am sure they will love it!! I surprised Morgan with tickets to the Nascar Races in Las Vegas, I have had it planned since October so it was really hard to keep it from him for so long, Tiff took some pictures of me holding his ticket, and I made an album out of them... that is how I gave him his surprise!!

Valentines Day

For Valentines I made breakfast for my family! Ali was so excited that I caught her at 3:45 a.m. in Grayson's room playing with him on the floor, then she woke Ashton up at 6:00, so we started our day bright and early!

As you can see by the huge goofy smile Grayson loved his little book we got him for Valentines!

So Morgan totally surprised me with tickets to the Britney Spears concert, and a bag full of candy from The Little Sweet Pea~ just what I need!!

Ali and Makinley threw a Valentines Party at Nama's house, they decorated it so cute, and even had a pinata!

We had a fun Valentines this year, I made breakfast for Morg and the kids, then we went to moms for a little party that she helped Ali throw! Mammy made all of us a bag of homemade Mother Goose popcorn.... it didn't even make it out of the door! Mom got us really cute heating pads that are shaped like a heart, a potted flower, and this yummy smelling kitchen cleaner, she always does such cute things for us! Aunt melanie just got back from her Thailand adventure.... she brought us all some little treasures! We sent some roses to mom from my dad this year, because last year before he died he made us promise that every year on Valentines we would still send her roses from him, it was fun to surprise her!

Fancy Nancy Party!

So Ali signed us up for this" Fancy Nancy" tea party at the library last month, and she hasn't stopped talking about it! They sent her an invitation in the mail last week, and she was so excited! She planned what she was going to wear for the entire week before. It was so adorable to see all of the little girls in their princess clothes. They served us some fancy little treats, and they got little purses with lip gloss, candy necklaces and rings in them, then they got to have their nails painted, and decorate a little box for their valentines! I am so glad that I have a little girl to do these kinds of girlie things with.... it was so much fun to see her so excited, and feeling so pretty in her "Fancy" clothes!
